GREENVILLE, PA.: The UPMC Horizon Greenville Auxiliary’s Memories in Lights at 5:30 p.m. with the lighting of the tree in the Garden of Life, refreshments and entertainment. Light sponsorships available for $7 each. To hang a personalized angel on the tree to honor or remember a loved one, arrive at 5.

GIRARD: A Winterfest Dance will be at Mahoning Country Club, 710 E. Liberty St. SE, for all high school-aged special-needs students in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties. No cost but reservations needed; Semi-formal attire is requested. No sweatpants, jeans, shorts, school uniforms or tennis shoes, unless medically necessary. Drop off students between 4:30 and 5 p.m.; dinner from 5 to 6; dancing and crowning of Snow Prince and Princess from 6 to 8:30. No parents permitted between 5 and 8:15. COLUMBIANA: Joy of Christmas Light Display Senior Night, 6 to 9 p.m., Firestone Park. Admission to light show will be lowered to $5 if there is a senior citizen aged 55 and over in your vehicle. A free gift will also be given to each senior. The show runs every Thursday through Sunday through Christmas night. Regular admission is $8 per car.

BOARDMAN: Boardman and Austintown Starbucks locations are conducting a Giving Tree campaign through Dec. 21 to benefit the patients at Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley.
