Business After Hours event
The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber will host a holiday Business After Hours event Thursday at Kennsington Golf Club, 4171 Westford Place.
The event will include holiday traditions with horse-drawn sleigh rides, a campfire complete with marshmallows for roasting, holiday movie classics and festive music and games.

New training facility
The Ohio Gymnastics Institute has opened a new training facility at 5701 W. Webb Road.
The new facility includes new trampolines, equipment designed to allow gymnasts to safely learn difficult tricks and other specialized equipment. For information about the institute, call 330-652-4386.
The Western Reserve Association of Health Underwriters presents a program about workers’ compensation Dec. 14. This presentation is approved for one continuing-education credit.
The program will focus on what insurance agents need to know to be a resource for their clients so they can obtain the help they need to manage costs.
The workshop starts at 8 a.m. at The Fifth Season, 1400 Niles-Canfield Road.

Red Lobsters get a face- lift
Three local Red Lobster restaurants have been remodeled in a style inspired by the New England coast.
The renovated locations are 1410 Boardman-Poland Road, Boardman; 5701 Youngstown-Warren Road, Niles; and 3370 Shenango Valley Freeway, Hermitage, Pa.
Renovations include ship lanterns to welcome guests after dark, Adirondack-style chairs and unique window graphics.
Some restaurants will offer expanded seating for larger parties, LED lighting and energy-saving upgrades as well.
Preparing for aging work force
The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber is hosting an event to help businesses prepare for the challenges of an aging work force.
The event is from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Dec. 12 at The Embassy, 5030 Youngstown-Poland Road in Boardman. It includes a reception and lunch.
