A Youngstown man convicted in a 2005 murder has been arrested in an October homicide.
Janero S. Mitchell is facing aggravated murder charges after he was apprehended at his Norwood Avenue home on Friday.
On Oct. 21, Mark S. Haskins, 57, also of Norwood Avenue, was found with several gunshot wounds in front of a house on the southwest corner of the intersection of Bissell and Kensington avenues on the city’s North Side. He was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center, where he died a day later.
According to Vindicator files, Mitchell pleaded guilty in 2006 to reckless homicide for the 2005 case, and was sentenced to four years in prison.
