DeGenaro named presiding judge of 7th District court

Judge Mary DeGenaro, who has won re-election to a third consecutive six-year term on the 7th District Court of Appeals, has been chosen by her three colleagues as that court’s presiding judge for 2013 and 2014.

On Nov. 6, Judge DeGenaro, 51, of Poland, a Republican, won a contested race over her Democratic challenger, Atty. Mark A. Hanni, 55, of Canfield, a Democrat, by an 8 percent margin in the eight-county district covered by the court.
