YOUNGSTOWN — Columbus Jones Jr. will spend 92 years to life in prison for shooting into a house near the campus of Youngstown State University killing 25-year-old Jamail Johnson and wounding 11 others.
Jones, 23, appeared before Judge John M. Durkin of Mahoning County Common Pleas Court for sentencing today looking much different than he has over the course of his two-week trial. Gone are the dress slacks and shirts, replaced by the orange jumpsuit issued by the county.
A jury of five men and seven women found Jones guilty of murder, felonious assault and shooting into a habitation, with accompanying gun specifications, after deliberating for two days.

Just make sure Columbus does not get an early parole date.
Justice served!
Just PTS him take all our tax dollars that would pay for all his years there and save animals!!
Let this be a lesson learned: settling your differences with a gun is not worth it.
