Blessed Sacrament Parish, 3020 Reeves Road NE, Warren, will host a casino night and Texas Hold’em Sept. 8 at the parish’s Covelli Gymnasium. Doors open at 5 p.m.; play begins at 5:30. In addition to $1,300 in chips with a $50 buy-in, there is a 60 percent payout. Those who register by Sept. 6 will receive an extra $200 in chips. Ohio State University Alumni Club of Trumbull and Mahoning Counties is announcing its annual benefit football ticket raffle. The grand prize is two President’s Club season football tickets good for all eight home games. Second prize is two tickets to the University of Miami home opener Sept. 1. Raffle tickets are $20 each or three for $50; only 600 tickets will be sold. Proceeds will benefit the club’s scholarship fund.
