Published: Thu, August 16, 2012 @ 10:59 p.m.

WARREN

An 18-year-old Haymaker Road Northwest man told police he was assaulted and his state identification card taken at the corner of Taylor Street and Parkman Road Northwest early Wednesday.

The man said he was walking home just after 5 a.m. from an early-hours business when nine people, all dressed in black clothes and wearing green bandanas over their faces, assaulted him.

They hit and kicked him in his head and body and took something from his pocket, he told police.

The man, who had numerous scrapes on his back, knees and elbows, refused medical treatment.
