East Side man charged with shooting friend at club

YOUNGSTOWN — A city man is in Mahoning County jail, charged with the robbery and shooting of a longtime friend at an East Side private club.

Kenyatta Collins, 36, of Plazaview Court, appeared today before Magistrate Anthony Sertick of Youngstown Municipal Court on charges of aggravated robbery. The magistrate handed down a bond of $150,000.

The shooting took place Tuesday night as the victim and Collins left the Himrod Progressive Club.

The victim said Collins shot him and robbed him of $250.

A "longtime friend" - LMAO!

He must have been teasing him about his name: Kenyatta.

So Kenyatta must have got ticked off and shot him. Some longtime (snicker, snicker) friend.
