YOUNGSTOWN — Senior Obama Administration officials will be at M-7 Technologies on Thursday morning to discuss a “significant announcement for American manufacturing in Youngstown,” according to an official at the U.S. Commerce Department.
Although the specifics of the announcement remain unclear, several sources have speculated on a multimillion-dollar grant for M-7, which works to reduce manufacturing costs, improve product and service quality and reduce the time it takes to manufacture heavy industrial products.
M-7 also works across various industries, but a clue on the announcement comes with its work in the aerospace and defense industries.

The sources have speculated wrong. M-7 is merely the venue for the announcement.
This is potentially huge for the entire area.
