i didn't realize police officers were able to give medical reports about patient's conditions...this is how desperate this paper is to get a story....they don't even realize who they are getting their story from...btw, what is "stable" condition vs. "critical" condition...I didn't realize that the local hospitals had these differential diagnosises....

"i didn't realize police officers were able to give medical reports about patient's conditions...this is how desperate this paper is to get a story.""

Where in the world does this article give a medical report? Did you read the short article?

"they don't even realize who they are getting their story from."

???? This is a report from the Police on the scene. Are you sure you read the entire article and can comprehend it?

"what is "stable" condition vs. "critical" condition...I didn't realize that the local hospitals had these differential diagnosises...."

First off, it's not a diagnosis, and second off, it's not just local hospitals that give out conditions, it's EVERY hospital in the World.

Simple terms:
Critical - Vital signs are unstable and not within normal limits.
Stable - Patient has a favorable prognosis or stable vital signs.

Are you really that dumb-witted?

ANYWAY, about the shooting, here's the useless DNA that cowers behind a gun.....so typical.

One man is in the hospital, another behind bars after a shooting on Youngstown's East Side.

Police said Kenyatta Collins, 36, shot another man near Forest and Himrod Avenues around 10:15 p.m. Tuesday.

Officers arrested Collins around midnight at a residence on Plazaview Court.

Police said the victim was shot in his car and tried to drive home but was found along North Fruit Street.

He victim was taken to Saint Elizabeth Health Center with gunshots to his chest and leg. He is listed in stable condition.

To 2swild
Get a police scanner and (actually) listen to it. You can hear officers asking radio dispatchers to call the hospital and get a condition. Then, they relay it back to the officer.
(it's called communication).

Here's a tip: maybe if you picked up a book or newspaper (and became more worldly) you would learn more about your surroundings and life in general.

Just saying.
