State tells D&L Energy ‘not yet’ to reopening North Star-1 well
COLUMBUS
The state has rejected a request from D&L Energy to reopen the North Star-1 well that was linked to a dozen earthquakes in the Youngstown area.
D&L suggested reopening North Star-1 well along with four others within seven miles and recording the pressure of injection using sensitive seismic equipment, according to the letter from D&L provided to the Vindicator by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.
After reviewing the proposals from D&L, the state decided to allow the current indefinite moratorium to remain in effect, said Carlo LaParo, spokesman for the ODNR.

And if we don't all behave and play nice, nice with all the drilling companies, the state will allow D&L to shake our houses good next time.... If Romney wins in the general election, I have a feeling all hell will break loose within a month after the election.
Not yet Big Ben, wait till after the general election....... (Vote for Obama! He is the lesser of two evils).
