BOARDMAN
Police arrested a 33-year-old Youngstown man who had three active warrants out of the Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office.
Morris D. Perry, who also goes by Morris Johnson, was wanted for three counts of trafficking dangerous drugs, police said.
Boardman police received an anonymous tip that Perry was at the Red Roof Inn, 1051 Tiffany South, and went to the hotel at about 8 p.m. Wednesday, arrested Perry and transferred him to Columbiana County deputies.

People talk about the crime in Youngstown but ignore the much larger crime problems in Columbiana and other county bumbkin areas. Kids are brought up with guns in these outer areas. Mix the dangerous legal drug alcohol and the illegal drugs they produce with these children of guns and now the problem is just as bad as the city. With the potential to be much worse!
to tax me....... There is crime everywhere. Some places worse than others. I moved from Y-town to Columbiana years ago and it was the best thing that I ever did. The Police are great and so is the town. Wouldn't have it any other way. And by the way we aren't "country bumpkins" in which you spelled it wrong.
No place is immune from crime. It don't matter where you live.
Ya ill take the worst street in Columbiana County over the best street in the Yo anyday....indeed
danikytn is absolutely right. Anyday. Any street.
That's right the country kids are raised with guns and parents that teach them respect for the guns and human life. You don't hear of country kids just walking around shooting each other.
Boardman and Poland not only need to protect their northern boarders but it's apparent the Southern boarders need protection too!
taxme get a life. If you are not going to post an intelligent comment, do not post at all.
