Betras to meet with Obama next week

My Letter to the Editor to DAVE BETRAS on 2009. Yes, the date is right, folks!

After reading your opinion letter, Dave, in the Warren Tribune on 10/08/09, I was impressed with your characterization of the Democratic party's virtues, particularly as they apply to the terrible discrimination being inflicted on the Delphi Salaried retirees these past eight months. In the very first sentence, you spoke of political leadership "being willing to do the right thing no matter the consequences". I would like to trust that our Democratic Congressmen, Governor, and President will eventually "do the right thing" for not only the Delphi Salaried retirees, but the entire Mahoning Valley by not allowing a $161 million per year loss to occur as a result of "doing nothing". As you and I have discussed, eight months have passed since the Salaried retirees earned pensions have been slashed, while all other worker groups in the same company have been rightfully made whole. While I can't understand how eight months can pass and the Democratic party can allow this blatant discrimination to continue, I would like to "trust" that the Democratic party will "do the right thing" as 2010 approches, to use your words.
As you extolled what you say are the virtues of the Democratic party later in your letter, I was once again impressed. Virtues such as "courage, leadership, faith, and optimism", as you said, represent great qualities for everyone, including the Democratic party to possess. But without RESULTS, they are, in fact, only empty words. As 2010 approaches, I demand that my party of choice produces RESULTS that exemplify the virtue of "doing the right thing". I expect the Delphi Salaried retiree pension fund to be fully funded, just as all of the other worker groups within the same company were deservedly funded. Thousands of my fellow Salaried retirees demand the same thing.
Time will SOON tell whether your stated qualities of the Democratic party that you lead truly are virtues, or just empty words. And the public will know.

Let's see Tuesday, DAVE, if words of the Democratic party "being willing to do the right thing no matter the consequences" have any merit to the Delphi retirees, or are they just "EMPTY WORDS". Because empty words translates into empty checkmarks for Democratic candidates...

Betras is going to volunteer his services to represent Barry's Uncle Onyango in his drunk driving "situation"? And perhaps also with Uncle Onyango's illegal immigration issue? (Hmmm ... embarrassing relatives? Something else Barry has in common with Jimmy Carter.) Dave -- don't forget to take your chapstick.

The folks who are getting the free stuff, don't like the folks who
are paying for the free stuff, because the folks who are paying
for the free stuff, can no longer afford to pay for both the free
stuff and their own stuff too .... and the folks who are paying
for the free stuff, want the free stuff to stop, and the folks who
are getting the free stuff, want even more free stuff on top of
the free stuff they are already getting!

Now ... the people who are forcing the people who pay for the
free stuff,have told the people who are RECEIVING the free
stuff, that the people who are PAYING for the free stuff, are
being mean, prejudice and racist.

So ... the people who are GETTING the free stuff, have been
convinced they need to hate the people who are paying for the
free stuff, by the people who are forcing some people to pay
for their free stuff, and giving them the free stuff in the first
place.

We have let the free stuff giving, go on for so long that there
are now more people getting free stuff than paying for the
free stuff.

Now understand this, all great democracies have committed
financial suicide somewhere between 200 and 250 years after
being founded. The reason? The voters figured out they could
vote themselves money from the treasury by electing people
who promised to give them money from the treasury in exchange
for electing them.

The United States officially became a Republic in 1776 ... 231
years ago. The number of people now getting free stuff outnumbers
the people paying for the free stuff. We have one chance to change
that in 2012. Failure to change that spells the end of the United
States as we know it.

Election 2012 is coming ...

Culture:Constitution and the Bill of Rights!
Drug Free: Mandatory Drug Screening before Welfare!
No freebies to:Non Citizens!

The legendary Great White Hope will meet with the Great Black Dope and thank him for stealing the money from the people who should have been paid by the bankrupt General Motors and in turn there will be countless jobs for anyone who wants one and thank him for continually lying to the citizens and pulling the wool over everyone's eyes because they are now blind and can't see what this Government is doing to us. Have him take his dog and pony show somewhere else where some other idiots might believe what he says. Anyone who believes them, then you deserve the bunch of nothing you get. The system is so corrupt, people can't see the truth anymore. Youngstown is prospering now---NOT !! Look at these two real close and you may see their lips move when they lie to you some more.

Democrats are anti-business and pro unemployment.

Just remember voters, the 2012 election is a little more than a year from now. The Delphi issue is just one of MANY reasons that Youngstown, Warren, & Ohio MUST DEFEAT the Barrack Obama!! His discriminatory behavior ALONE warrant his DEFEAT! Don't forget, voters, and GET OUT TO VOTE!!!
