Great news for someone looking for work! I can hear it now: "Hello, this is Charlie Wilson calling from InfoCision. We have a great offer for you today, Mr Skolnick. Oh? You're eating supper? Well, I need just one short minute of your time...."
You have to ask yourself why any employer in the Mahoning Valley has to offer $500 signing bonuses to entice applicants when unemployment is 9%. Could it be that employers are having a hard time finding qualified applicants?
Umm, Dwight? Maybe because doing phone work is located in about the 5th circle of hell.
yeah infocision is a very sketchy business, which makes sense its republican funded and practices repbulican beliefs...
I've heard former employees refer to it as "Infoprison"
Workers will then be scheduled to 33 hr. or less per week
So many out of work and no jobs to be had. Well here is one folks. Go apply yourself, earn your paycheck, welcome to the workforce.
I can't imagime people complain about businesses and bad working conditions. Not after all the union bashing on this board.
I know people that have gotten jobs at Infocision and have turned it down due to Infocision has a strict dress code of wanting you to dress in business clothes while you make a calls from you cubicle, they have a daily quote of how many calls you have to make a day with success and also the hours they give you are ridiculous. I know a job is a job, but too many people have said that Infocision isn't worth it.
You hit the nail on the head DAL. I went for an interview there many years ago and they wanted to pay minimum wage but expected you to pay for clothes and shoes that an exective would wear. I had already worked in an office for years but I couldn't wear what they expected without going and buying a new wardrobe. Definitely not worth it for phone work and minimal pay!
