BOARDMAN — State Rep. Ronald V. Gerberry of Austintown, D-59th, will host a town-hall forum on possibly privatizing the Ohio Turnpike at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Boardman Township Government Center, 8299 Market St.
Gerberry and other lawmakers will discuss Gov. John Kasich’s plans to privatize the turnpike and the potential impact on communities along the highway and across the state.

Is anyone besides Gov. Kasich for selling the Turnpike?? Anyone?
I think this might be a good forum for OTC employee's in the area to rally against Kasich and his privatization plans. Bring a sign and protest in the lot. I am sure there will be some sort of media attention there!
*A very urgent matter, folks! High Risk! Ohioians have this right to express their views all over at town hall meetings...and they currently are. It won't matter to Kasich. See, we all suffer! He better NOT privatize OUR turnpike. It belongs to Ohio. Period. It is the largest asset we have. Kasich wants to balance the budget by one-time money, cash cow. WE WILL and SHALL STOP HIM! ...very soon, immediately! He is running Ohio into the ground as he did w/ Lehman Bros. Reckless decision-making. Sure, budget issues--- By selling/leasing turnpike to "foreign" governments, such as Spanish/ Australian consortium= Macquarie/ Cintra is definitely not the answer. The pikes condition and maintenance will absolutely deteriorate while the tolls go above and beyond expectations. (Indiana Toll 101%) Business travel through trucking, commuters, will be affected immensely, and a great loss of jobs. As a result secondary roads will (domino effect) suffer, thereafter.
This man is a nightmare. HE is a dead end. Not our Ohio Turnpike!

SELLING/LEASING is just a HORRIBLE idea.
One time money to balance a budget. STUPID..
Rates will skyrocket, salaries and quality will decrease. China profits. kasich leaves office laughing and the joke is on OHIO.
Who's the IDIOT now?
Vindypost, I agree
Why was he elected to run our state into the ground? He has such a great record. IE: Lehman Bros. I wonder if ohio will want to give him a big bonus like lehman bros did?
When does he leave office? NOT SOON ENOUGH
