YOUNGSTOWN — Police are investigating the death of a man found shot inside a South Side home this afternoon.
Police were called to a home in the 50 block of East Judson Avenue shortly past 3:30 p.m.
When they entered the residence, they found the body and also a baby, who was apparently unharmed. Police removed the child from the residence. One witness told a Vindicator reporter she heard what she thought were gunshots coming from the home early this morning.

Another homicide.
Oh yeah, Youngstown is just like everywhere else.... ahh just like most other cities.
Don't worry, Youngstown in past few years even with it's "reduction in crime" still ranks within the top 10 most dangerous cities in the United States on a per capita basis.
Keep it real hood soldiers.

Did this woman know who was involved in the shooting early in the morning ? From early in the morning to 3:30 PM is plenty of time to get away and hide the gun . Who was the snitch who called tha law ?
The killing fields (southside of Y-town) just go on and on with business as usual, and no one really gives a dam except the victims family, if there is one. Ethnic cleansing just one body/day at a time...
I see your point Attis but my guess is that the little mommas are making new ones faster than the ethnic cleansing is eliminating the adult corps.
DC has ample issues, but it doesn't compare to Youngstown, at least in past 2 years.
But based on the stats - the reported crime for 2009 or 2010 we looked at a few months back on here - St Louis was the most dangerous city.
The numbers were based on large cities though. So Youngstown head count wise missed inclusion.
However, when compared on per capita basis, Youngstown actually had more crime in 2 or 3 of the 5 different criteria ranking.
Youngstown is indeed dangerous, one of the top 10 most dangerous in the entire US.
Just more of the same - over and over again. Murder by Hoodrat on the Southside of Youngstown!
Probably the only reason the infant wasn't iced was because it hadn't done anything to the shooter.
Or maybe the infant was overlooked?
Wasn't there an article yesterday about a YPD Lieutenant who had turned in fake overtime hours?
That neighborhood was once a very nice one. Guess it ain't no more.
Rest in peace Youngstown, you were a good place to live years ago.
Wasnt this the week of peace? Oh I forgot in Youngstown the battles over squalid and dirty streets continues.
Redvert and Attis :Ethnic cleansing??? please, elaborate....
Another "suspicious death" on East Avondale. See WYTV for further.
Death in the 'Dales continues.
"On Saturday, police found 20-year-old Tequon Sharpe dead inside a home on East Judson."
Youngstown, a place where child mentalities kill each other over a $20, some shoes or something else totally laughable.
The animals must've escaped from the zoo. Pitiful low life DNA bottom feeders.
What happened to "Stop the Violence" week, they could care less, pitiful excuse of animal flesh. They all need to be wiped off the face of the Earth. Such losers in life and humankind.
Where's the damn gang task force Ytown needs?
Can't tell me all these murders are just one off random actors offing random enemies.
All the drugs, they are organized and what that area is and the major "business" found there.
Ytown has a drug and gang problem.
