Looks like that recruiting is paying off, good job gents...
Great job. Way to beat up on those D-III rural schools.
yeah, stubenville and chargin falls are very "rural" schools, must have been why they were both undefeated before the got beat.
lol @ leo for knowing nothing about mooney's schedule or high school football playoffs for that matter.it's not like they choose who they play in the playoffs, how can you say that? plus, steubenville's a powerhouse every year too. mooney still plays a D1 schedule every year, what more do you want? numbers don't lie man.
Mooney plays D-lll schools in the play-offs based on the system's enrollment requirements, etc.which classifies them as a D-lll school. Check out this D-lll's regular season schedule,as well as Ursuline's.Those schedules are tougher than many D-l schools ! I'm not from the Valley, but I love, and follow the teams- parochial, private,or public. All have produced outstanding individual athletes, and coaches who become well-known nationally- something other areas in this state can't "brag about"
The best teams are recruited teams! Go Mooney - show the valley what you got.
How can all these morons talk about recruiting, when Boardman, Fitch, Harding, and many more teams get all the "new kids" from other communities, and noone says anything about that? Get your head out of your butts and give credit where it's due. The BEST athletes want to play for the BEST schools. Do you losers think that Mooney and Ursuline would want to lose their program by recruiting? Look at what they have to lose...especially with all the jealous idiots watching their every move. Be proud of our local acheivements and see what the Mooney/Ursuline grads do for this community, alot more than the cry babies that have nothing better to complain about the "winners" in our town.
@sailor, don't turn a blind eye. It cost nothing to go to one of the public institutions you mention. It does cost something to go to Mooney. This has been going on for decades, we're not stupid we know how it works. Do you really thin all the BEST athletes can afford an education at Mooney? It's a positive for the valley but com'on sailor, open your eyes.
Great job Mooney,Good Luck !
I see the typical A-Hole haters are posting.sailorjoe is correct,Fitch and some of the other larger schools, have open enrollment, which equals recruiting.
