Hispanic American Veterans seventh annual Appreciation Dinner is Saturday at Organizacion Civica y Cultural Hispana Americana (OCCHA), 3660 Shirley Road, beginning at 6 p.m. Dinner will be at 6:30.
The guest speaker is Porfirio “Pete” Esparra, senior human resources director at Humility of Mary Health Partners and retired member of the U.S. Air Force Reserve.

I wonder how big the public outrage would be if it were a caucasian veteran appreciation dinner. Everyone would say they must be racist. But, this is OK. --- WHY ???
