Hmm, what a surprise, the coach can't motivate em' Tressel back in 2012.
Arod, you don't know what in the hell you are talking about... Tressel is not back in 2012 and Wolford can motivate. Youth has been our killer, but we will be back next year.
VALLEYRED this comedian above has been spewing this Tressel back crap all year. First off he will never coach in college again he knowingly lied about what was going on at osu. Second who is gonna take a 250,000 a year max when hes getting paid 5 million to look at 2, maybe 3 plays a game. Lastly, anybody that has gone to a YSU game this year can clearly see the growth the team has had. But lets be serious today bad secondary and why are we throwing the ball to Barboza?
I think too many people in this area are thinking that the Tressel era of the 1990's is somehow doable again over a decade later. College football is very different now, even at the 1-AA level and the days of one team dominating year afer year are over. Of course we all want YSU to start winning right away, but it's not going to happen that quickly. This team has been in every single game with the exception of the "money" games at the beginning of the year. I think they are on the cusp of being a playoff team, but fans are going to have to be more patient than they're used to being.
Tressel back in 2012!!!
That receiver can't catch a cold. He must be replaced next week. He embarassed YSU and mostly himself. Wolfold can't catch the ball for him.
Great defensive effort; it was good to see them step up against a dangerous UNI team. Too bad the offense couldn't take advantage of the chances they had. It was just a matter of time before UNI was going to explode for a touchdown after the offense handed it back to them on numerous occasions in the fourth quarter. The defense is obviously improving; they just have to become consistent week after week at putting a good offensive and defensive effort together at the same time.
