Miranda Lambert coming to Covelli Centre in Feb.

Country music star Miranda Lambert will come to Covelli Centre on Feb. 18, for a concert that will include opening acts Chris Young and Jerrod Niemann. Tickets are $31.75 and $49.75 (additional fees may apply) and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the Covelli Centre Box Office; by phone at 800-745-3000, and online at www.ticketmaster.com.

Lambert recently released her new album, “Four the Record,” and will play songs from it at Covelli.

“I’m looking forward to the tour and playing some new music from ‘Four The Record’ and kicking some attitude,” said Lambert in a press release.

Lambert, the reigning CMA Female Vocalist of the Year, is nominated for two CMA Awards this year including Female Vocalist. The awards show will be Wednesday at 9 p.m. on ABC.

Chris Young brings a string of four number one singles to the tour including “Tomorrow,” from his top-selling album, “Neon.”

“I’m really fired up about touring with Miranda,” said Young. “I’ve admired her talent over the years and I’m looking forward to spending the first part of 2012 on the road with her and Jerrod.”

Young was nominated for the CMAs in the New Artist of the Year category. He already has three American Country Award nominations, including Breakthrough Artist of the Year.

Jerrod Niemann launched his debut major label album “Judge Jerrod & The Hung Jury” with the hit single “Lover, Lover.”
