Jennifer Marie Starr and Timothy James Lewis, both of Tempe, Ariz., were united in marriage at 2 p.m. April 9 by the Rev. Donald R. Clay at the Flamingo Hotel and Casino, West Lawn.
A reception at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino followed the ceremony.
The daughter of David Starr of Youngstown and Theresa Starr of Boardman, and son of Charles and Patricia Lewis of St. Peters, Mo., postponed their honeymoon and live in Tempe.
The bride wore an ivory side-draped taffeta A-line gown with floral detailing at the waist.
Caly Uehlinger was the bride’s honor attendant, and bridesmaids were Tara Davenport and Lee Ann Shuluga. Flower girl was Victoria Reardon.
The duties of best man were performed by Michael Lewis, brother of the groom, and groomsmen were Timothy Fleming and William Voss.
Mrs. Lewis has a bachelor’s degree and an associate degree from Youngstown State University and is attending Grand Canyon University, where she is pursuing a master’s degree in business administration.
Mr. Lewis earned a bachelor’s degree in game design from the University of Advancing Technology and is a quality assurance tester with THQ Inc. in Phoenix.
