MIDDLETOWN, Ohio (AP) — A semi tractor-trailer accident has left two northbound lanes of Interstate 75 closed near Middletown, the second closure in that area of southwest Ohio in less than 24 hours.
The Middletown Journal reports the driver apparently lost control early this morning while carrying 40,000 pounds of truck shock absorbers. Morning traffic was moving very slowly, down to one lane in late morning while the semi was being moved.
The slowdown comes a day after I-75’s northbound lanes just north of Middletown were closed for hours and all southbound traffic was shut down for most of Tuesday after a semi jackknifed over a concrete barrier.
The area is about midway between Cincinnati and Dayton.
