GM Lordstown to resume full production of Cruze on Tuesday

The General Motors Lordstown Complex plans to resume assembly of its Chevrolet Cruze Tuesday after a parts shortage halted production Friday.

GM officials report significant progress has been made at its supplier in Michigan.

As a result, regular Lordstown production will start up with shifts scheduled for the work day onTuesday.

At the West plant, production will resume beginning with third shift reporting at regularly scheduled times Monday night with subsequent shifts reporting at regular times Tuesday.

At the East plant including Paint and General Assembly (Trim & Chassis),

production is scheduled to resume with the first shift at 7 am Tuesday, with subsequent shifts reporting at regular times.
