More potential victims come forward in child sex case

Pennsylvania State Police said more potential victims of a Sharon man accused of fondling children are coming forward.

“I can just say that I’m getting other phone calls from other potential victims. It’s an ongoing investigation,” said Trooper Troy Owen.

James Kopan, 46, of Andrew Street, is facing charges relating to accusations that he exposed himself, showed pornographic images and fondled four boys, age 7 to 12, during a November sleep over at his business, Tornado Alley on Perry Highway.

During the sleep over, “there was slip-n-slide and he had them slide down naked,” Owens said.
