Correction

An editorial in Tuesday’s edition contained inaccuracies regarding House Bill 125, the so-called “heartbeat bill” on abortion. The number of the bill and its status in the Senate were incorrect. Gov. John Kasich also has not yet indicated whether he will sign the bill if and when it passes. He had promised to sign a late-term abortion bill, which he did Wednesday.

Thanks for the correction! The bill signed by Governor Kasich on Wednesday, H.B. 78, prohibits late-term abortions, those that occur after an unborn child is viable (able to live on her own outside of her mother's womb).

Shame on our local elected officials, Schiavoni, Cafaro, Hagan and Gerberry for all voting to continue to permit the killing of children even after they are medically able to survive on their own!

Schiavoni, Cafaro, Hagan & Gerberry: Denying medical facts, and voting to allow the killing of full term babies - that's an extreme pro-abortion view!

Actually, bravo to those representatives for realizing this is not a legal issue. Thank you to all of them for continuing to expand my rights as an American instead of limiting them.
