In a surprise move Monday night, Animal Charity fired its humane agent who investigates reports of animal abuse and/or neglect, two animal care-takers and its chief executive officer Nikole Barringer.
Louie, Vindy.com's news radio partner, will talk with her about the move and what it means for animals in the county.

Great Job Gary. Should have happened long ago. Perhaps Nichole had a relative on the board that protected her. She was a terrible coordinator and there were some Inappropriate things going on behind the scenes with her and her Main Man Joe Borosky. I'm very happy that this crap has finally come to a head. What does this mean to the community? Perhaps now Animal Charity can start their healing process and we can get a CEO that truely cares about the welfare of the animals and not just personal relationships on donated and taxpayer dollars. Now maybe we will have a Humane officer witha a heart that doesn't abuse his office by using a company vehicle for personal transportation. Maybe now they will start managing time and money more efficiently and effectively. I would like to see the board talk to some of the employees that were fired under Nichole and at the request of Joe and get their story. This goes way deeper than is being reported. Thanks Louie. Known you and trusted you for many many years.
