Lariccias save Animal Charity humane agent's job

Animal Charity expects to reinstate its humane department thanks to a contribution from philanthropists Tony and Mary Lariccia.

After reading a story in Wednesday’s Vindicator about the agency eliminating humane services because of financial problems, the couple offered their assistance.

“We’ll provide $50,000 every year until they can get on their feet.” Mary Lariccia said.

Tony Lariccia said he didn’t want there to be no one to help innocent animals that are abused or neglected.

Gary Pilcher, chairman of the Animal Charity board, said the agency would hire a humane agent soon, possibly this week.

The donation also means that the agency can make this week’s payroll.

“They literally saved us,” Pilcher said.

It's a shame they didnt thoroughly investigate who they were giving money to. That money could have been used by a genuine agency to hire a proper humane agent instead of the mickey mouse agent ACL has.

From what i can tell from the news,Larricca is a good man, but I agree that loser Borosky is not a humane man and should not be a humane officer. I beleive Animal Charity saw this and that is why his position was eliminated. I think they should hire a new agent. I bet they do. Hopefully its bye bye borowsky.

That Borosky who was smirking to the cameras as he took the catladies cats to be killed now says he will work for nothing! He must love killing. Yet when I called to get help for an abused dog they didn't have enough agents. That's because they were too busy making up charges against the Cat ladies! If Borosky gets back in, this thing is not over!! And that Nichole is no better. They killed 64 cats and are still holding 29. No charges were levied against Cat Ladies. Why are they allowed to keep those cats????? Evil!!

Who is putting the welfare of animals over people?? How did you get that brilliant analysis? Why do people like you believe that you can't care for BOTH people and animals? Single-minded skewed thinker. If you don't like animals, don't get any! By the way, where do you get off saying that stray dogs can be shot by concerned citizens? You sound dangerous.
