Ready to eat

If you have a craving for stuffed-cabbage rolls but don’t want to go through the hassle of making them yourself, then you should head to Mahoning United Methodist Church on Mahoning Avenue, Youngstown.

About 10 volunteers prepare the mouth-watering rolls on Mondays and cook them Tuesday mornings for a church fundraiser. The public can pick them up from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays. Top, volunteer Jill Patterson scoops up several rolls under the watchful eye of Marilyn Miller.

Volunteers say their use old family recipes.
