Police get bare facts on crash: Driver charged after 3 nude men flee SUV

Published: Tue, January 4, 2011 @ 12:04 a.m.

Staff report

BOARDMAN

An 18-year-old township man was charged with drunken driving and other offenses after he fled an accident and dropped off three nude passengers, township police said.

About 4 a.m. Saturday, police received reports from citizens about a crash on Oakridge Drive and a black Ford Explorer leaving the scene.

Police said they saw the sport-utility vehicle driven by Jason E. Egner stopped on Mathews Road with its hazard lights on and three nude men running from the passenger-side door.

The SUV continued traveling west on Mathews very slowly, as a front tire was flat and the rim was on the road, according to reports.

Officers suspected Egner, who was clothed, was under the influence and gave him a breath test, which recorded a reading of 0.153. The legal blood-alcohol limit in Ohio is 0.08.

When the police went to Oakridge, they found a front license plate that matched the vehicle Egner was driving.

Egner also is charged with two counts of obstructing official business and an underage-person offense.

He is scheduled to appear today on the charges in Mahoning County Area Court here.

Censoredship, The Youngstown Christian School is the beginning of Youngstown. Dr Allen's office on Maple Drive is the last street in Boardman. Boardman South is what it's called now.

Sounds like a freak fest plain and simple! Stop sanitizing and trying to clean it up! Crime is crime and a crime was committed- driving under the influence and substance misuse is a crime!

Ok there are many assumptions as to what happened that night. The "streakers" happened to stop this car driving down the road. They were not in his vehicle. As to what this jason kid did before this happened is not known. The "streakers" were in no way involved with him before they stopped the SUV. If anything they stopped Jason from doing more harm to himself or others. He was driving under the influence and under age with possession of marijuana.

Were are you people from? Seriously. All messed up on synthetics? Did you think of that one all by yourself? Crime is everywhere. This is very true. But this was a typical OVI stop just involving streakers. If they weren't involved this story wouldn't have even made the paper. Good day sirs.

Hmmm,..

Along with your sudden arrival, positioning and isolated interest in this specific occurrence. One would detect we're just a bit hasty, defensive, alibi riddled and screen name obtuse here aren't we,.. No?

Typical OVI stop?,.. not with a number of naked males fleeing the vehicle. That was traveling in a hit skip manner a few miles from a murder scene. Call it irony, happenstance, odd, peculiar or whatever but it's anything but typical.

See to include just how could you so whimsically " presume " all the things you're contending as consummate or conclusive fact?. To have been the manner, origin, conduct, posture, destination and circumstance of these individuals?

Even to you,.. is it at all common or a normality. For 3 naked males to stop a vehicle to hitch a ride by happenstance. In such inclimate weather, away from home and then be so fortuitous as to ride with a intoxicated driver for nothing?,.. image that Huh?

@nunya

I know the facts friend. The 3 males were not with Jason. They were streaking as a joke for new years and Jason came down the street in in SUV riding on the rim. The streakers were going to attempt to assist him in changing his tire. The streakers were spooked by the BPD car with one headlight not to mention and spotlight on them so they ran. Which could have appeared to the police officer responding to the call that they jumped out of the vehicle. He was pulled over almost directly in front of his house so if the streakers didnt stop him he would have gotten away without punishment.

@ censoredship

Why take it to Youngstown? Things don't happen in boardman like this? The kid was wasted had weed was involved in a hit and run and was only 18. The naked guys were a totally different party involved.

Haha I would have taped my wallet but my pants were close by.

It was harmless antics until a drunk ahole showed up. Wrong place wrong time. He deserved to be punished for his antics. The embarrassment of being accused of having 3 naked guys is enough. Lesser punishments could have happened in the Yo. Harmless public nudity is stupid I realize this but hit and run DUI and possession are serious crimes. He could have gotten away if he wasn't stopped.

@ NotInvolved

Ok here's the thing,..

Along with stating that no matter how weird, indifferent or peculiar it all sounds. I'll yield that what you say could possibly or very well be true.

Mind I'm not trying to contend the naked males that fled nor the intoxicated hit skip driver. Are implied, presumed nor conclusively guilty of nor in anyway associated with the murder.

What I'm stating here is a not at all far fetched plausibility that needs to be checked out based upon a variety of substantive variables.

See now as per your account or analogy. It's to seem that the stripped down trio is to be likened to a innocent nude pit crew of good intent.

A gathering of such that by sheer happenstance were assisting in a wayward instance of humanitarian aide that's placed them and their dispositions in a bad light.

Where not to take issue with neither questioning the testaments within your contention. For the sake of probability or improbability I'll not belabor,..

1. How 3 nude fun-sters { nude or not } as neighbors. Can, could or would happen to be out and about at the all but exact Approx time of and or as the re-arrival of a OVI and hit skip neighbors exploits at 4am in the morning,..

2. Nor why any said 3 clothed or unclothed males on foot. Would feel a need or viability to attempt to bare handily stop a vehicle in it's tracks.

3. Or beg to differ or question why the naked assistants. Would see or feel the need to stop the neighbors vehicle in front of his own home. Prior to him pulling onto his property. Which would make it both safer and easier to assist him with anything needed.

4. Or even how, why or by what mindset those 3 unclothed males. Would or could see it fitting to assist someone / anyone change a tire while remaining bare butt naked in public.

5. Nor am I going to mire in questioning how an oncoming vehicle could spook the naked night smiling trio. When they'd already readily approached one vehicle in the street. While knowingly remaining outside so comfortably in their nudity. That they'd offered to even stop the driver to help change his tire,.. on a fresh wrecked vehicle.

6. I'll not even challenge if the responding patrol personnel. Somehow saw or for whatever reason thought or implied that it was witnessed that the naked trio disembarked from the vehicle in a manner of fleeing.

7. It's beyond thought how you can deduce or imply. That the nude evaders can or could be positioned as heroic assistants that averted more actions by the driver.

8. Or how the deliberately unclothed didn't receive charges of indecency for willful public nudity or even public drunkenness

Which are just 8 things that can be argued as not heinous. But yet are unquestionably capricious, peculiar, dangerous, eccentric, and multifaceted illegal.

CONTINUATION:

See all the aforementioned aspects not empirically challenged. Beyond and as well as anything else. Their dispositions of posture were quiet notably disrespecting to the neighbors, passer byes and even their own family.

For the fellas to be if nothing else but so inconsiderately exposing themselves in such a manner of public indecency { surely neither women nor children were respected by such a display of indecency }. .

YET THERE'S ANOTHER SIDE HERE:

See fact is the day time group and the proximity makes it extremely plausible. To wit at one locality one man is found left murdered. Where within a 30 minute time line and less than 7 miles away. From that hit skip vehicle of 4 male occupants / association.

Were collectively certainly getting the hell away from where they previously were in dual manners of attempting to avoid law enforcement detection or apprehension.

Hence to them { or the driver } the path, pattern and rate was apparently for such a good reason or necessity to him or them.

That they weren't just doing it fast and recklessly. But it appears they'd taken extreme measures to discard clothing to such the degree. That revealed 3 of the individuals stripped down in mass nudity. In inclimate weather and at the damnedest time of the morning and for some reason was away from home,.. in a Black SUV during the hours of nautical twilight.

See aside from pondering did they leave home nude, where were and or are all those clothes and why not retrieved?,

Or if that was just their planned or happenstance idea of a reckless good time. Where in inputting a triangulated route of Shady Run, Oakridge Drive and Mathews Road in a general proximity footprint.

You find the time line isn't just so plausible and the route quiet expeditious. But with the localities of where the drunk driver was destined to transport the nude individuals to. Was a destination { or approximately close to it } where they were caught or saw fleeing is of extreme interest.

This is what that geographic footprint looks like on Google maps,.. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&sourc...

Look at that,..

TO CONCLUDE:

To wit not to infer, nor imply and or regardless to your connection or possible relation to any of these individuals. All plausible events of impending relevance has to be looked at closely when tracking criminality.

Which one doesn't need to be of the fiber of neither Dr. Henry Lee, Basil Rathbone, Johnny L Cochran Jr, Peter Faulk, Cyril Wecht, F. Lee Bailey, Monk, Willie E. Gary, inspector Clouseau, Thurgood Marshal nor even a Geoffrey Fieger.

To far less than contentiously look at the plausible possibility. Of any connection of complicity given such an occurrence being so uncanny if not even approximate to a murder committed in such a close proximity of both time line and geographic locality.

See where wage probability can be implicitly loosely or conclusively waged as conclusive in any circumstance.

Yet to deduce and or determine legitimate plausibility with factoring a presentation of more than mere hypothetical or non factual preponderance. Is when, where and how you review if there's any proverbial There - There.

Which the correlation between these two occurrences unquestionably has enough there - there. To be deem less than merely accusatory in being thoroughly looked at.

Where to pursue or put to rest any and or all plausibility of guilt or innocence. One can't be superficially swayed by hearsay nor discard facts when and or if reviewing for substantive conclusion.

I don't know any of the parties involved here. Nor am I jumping to conclusions as to assert their absolute guilt nor innocence. I'm just sharing and expressive overview of not faltering to any sequential or non-insequential bias.

Hey Rudypoot56

Surely the discussion and presentation of such cognitive thought process is well over your head.

However, although your being so irrelevant to such subject matter and oblivious to anything pertinent. To have an interjection from a likeness such as yourself.

Only helps solidify my salutation that no one should subscribe to wasting their life being a mere dummy. Because it's without question that you epitomize the example of incompetence. By you serving as the end result of if and or when they so senselessly do.

Now you just go on about your own " Special " little way. Where you pose as a pinhead to be programmed as to continue to be a mere punchline with stammering a sermon of your absolute stupidity in this pantheon called life.

Somehow I detect no one aside from myself has ever been so cerebrally candid with you before,... ROTFFLMAO !!!
