Youngstown police looking for two women who robbed man

Published: Mon, February 28, 2011 @ 2:05 p.m.

YOUNGSTOWN — Police are looking for two women accused of robbing a 43-year-old North Side man after threatening him with a 40-ounce beer bottle.

The man told police he was visiting a friend on Cordova Avenue on Friday when the two women, acquaintances of his, came to the house looking for him. The man said one woman picked up the bottle and they both demanded his possessions. The women went through his pockets taking identification, credit cards and a debit card.

"YOUNGSTOWN — Police are looking for two women accused of robbing a 43-year-old North Side man after threatening him with a 40-ounce beer bottle."

This was no crime but simply a robust solicitation . The man will not be arrested since he didn't attempt to assault the women .

almost too funny for words. apparently the three of them couldn't come to a mutually satisfactory agreement over the terms. that'll teach him to mess with bottle toting women.
