Published: Mon, February 21, 2011 @ 3:00 p.m.

City police have arrested Mark E. Jones on murder and felonious assault charges in the Feb. 6 shootings at a house party on Indiana Avenue near Youngstown State University.

Jones, who was arrested this morning and is being held in Mahoning County jail, is the sixth person apprehended on charges related to the shootings.

He is a brother of Columbus Jones, 22, of Cambridge Avenue, who has been indicted on one count of murder and 11 counts of felonious assault in the incident.

Jamail Johnson, a 25-year-old YSU student, was killed, and 11 others were wounded in the 3:30 a.m. gunfire.

$500 bond for Edwards because he is not charged with murder or felonious assault.

As you can see the others who ARE, have no bond.

I wouldn't expect any light sentences for those still charged, AND IF THEY ARE CONVICTED<---- which you may not be understanding that a conviction comes after a trial..not just because you are arrested for something.
