Police charged five male juveniles with criminal mischief after an “egging” incident in the 5000 block of Fifth Avenue Extension.
A resident there reported to police his house and vehicle had been egged for the third time in the last few weeks.
Police on patrol did a traffic stop on a truck about 11:10 p.m. Thursday after noticing egg on the driver’s side. Police found two cases of eggs in the bed of the truck. The juveniles, a 17-year-old from Canfield, a 15-year-old and 16-year-old from Girard, a 16-year-old from Youngstown and a 16-year-old from Hubbard, were taken to the police station and released to their parents. They admitted egging cars and houses.

I'll bet that these fellows are not scholastic achievers either . . .. Nothing will be learned here and the parents will pay their fines .
These youngsters are probably just 'misunderstood' teens who are trying to gain the attention of their parents by acting out. Rich kids throw eggs, hood rats throw lead. Both groups get attention from the Po-po.
these juveniles should have to clean up a road in the township that is littered by people throwing trash out of their car as they drive down the street.they should have to do this every saturday for at least 4 weeks.this is better than a fine by their parents.this would help them to not destroy or ruin other peoples property.
Driving Laws were broken here -
A 17-year old licensed driver is NOT permitted to drive between the hours of 11pm and 5am unless for the below reasons:
*employment, school, religious activities or medical necessity.
Also, I believe there is a limitation on how many juveniles may accompany them in the vehicle.
Parents of these teens Do you remember 2004 in Millcreek Park and all of the kids in the car that tragically died? Screwing around while driving turns that car into a WEAPON and innocents can be killed. Make your teens watch some You Tube videos of kids being killed while being disruptive citizens in cars. This time it was just "kid stuff" but there might not be a next time. Keep your kids home, order them a pizza and watch movies with them. Don't let them drive all over between two counties causing havoc. About the egging: If you've ever had to clean dried egg off of a car or house in the middle of winter, you understand this is a crime - it peels paint and stains. These kids should have to do some community volunteering and go back to driving school.
