BOARDMAN

A 31-year-old township woman pleaded not guilty to falsifying records to send her children to Boardman schools.

DeJeanine M. Brockman, of Centervale Avenue, was arraigned in Mahoning County Court in Boardman today on a misdemeanor falsification charge.

She previously posted her $9,500 bond, which was continued today. Brockman is also charged with felony tampering with records, police said.

This is pathetic- she is being treated worse than the damn drug addicts/dealers and because she wanted to send her kids to a better school district???

Just like the lady in Akron who was convicted of lying and filing false paperwork to send her kids to a suburban school near Akron who spent 10 days in jail that's been on the national news, this is the same type of case. I hope she gets jail time if convicted. If she wants to go to Boardman schools, she should move to Boardman. How much simpler does it get? Follow the law!

Hey MORON, some people can't afford to live in Boardman but still want their kids to get a good education. God your an idiot. I guess were not all as good off as you are.

So the ends justify the means? The typical we need to ignore all those pesky rules and regulations and do what WE want not what the law says.

Didnt say what she did was right- what I have a problem with is the bond being higher than these drug addicts and worse get and probably longer sentence.
