BOARDMAN
Police arrested a woman who is accused of falsifying records to send her children to Boardman schools.
DeJeanine M. Brockman, 31, was apprehended after police searched her Centervale Avenue residence Friday and charged her with tampering with records and falsification.
“Those charges are related to her providing false documents earlier in the school year [when she lived elsewhere] for enrollment papers,” said Sgt. Chuck Hillman, Boardman’s student-resource officer.
Brockman has six children, five of whom are school-aged and attend Boardman schools, Hillman said, noting that Centervale Avenue is in the township.
The children “are still attending school at this point, and we do believe that they’re residing [in Boardman] now,” he said.

She should have enrolled them in Ytown for 6 months, then used the EdChoice vouchers to put them in parochial school until they graduate.
I wonder why the parents of Boardman's quarterback, who live in Struthers, weren't investigated and charged when they changed custody over to a relative living in the Boardman district right before school started just so he could play football there. Everyone knows the kid's still living in Struthers with his family though. Is that any better than what this lady did? Selective prosecution IMO.
I THOUGHT THIS WAS A FREE COUNTRY, WHY DO PPL ALWAYS GOT THEIR NOSE STUCK IN PPL'S BUSINESS. DO AN ENROLLMENT EACH YEAR SO KIDS CAN GO TO THE SCHOOL OF THEIR CHOICE. GET WITH THE PROGRAM
Hmmm. This is why the Boardman Police Department
is too busy to arrest the criminals skulking around Wal-Mart and Giant Eagle and the mall in Boardman. They're out chasing the REAL criminals: women who want
to put their children in Boardman Schools. Makes perfect sense to me. Sgt. Hillman: Barney Fife reporting for duty.
