Beaver Township police are investigating a purse-snatching at a local church.
Police said an 86-year-old woman’s purse was stolen about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday while she volunteered at a food- distribution center at Mount Olivet United Church of Christ, 410 W. South Range Road.
Her purse contained cash and all of the woman’s credit cards and was last seen in the church kitchen, reports state.
Anyone with information is asked to call Beaver police at 330-549-5338.

I called Beaver police asking if I could donate some money to help this woman - they were as helpful as you would expect the Beaver Police to be...hopefully the Vindy will follow-up on this story and let us know if we can help in any way.

Why would you call the disappearance of a purse from a "last seen" location a "purse snatch". Its a very misleading headline.
