Hagan stands in way of progress

Hagan stands in way of progress

Much like putting the ki- bosh on the resort developers who wanted to build a race track/resort with their own (no taxpayer) money, I see that Rep. Robert Hagan now wants to put the brakes on the local shale development possibilities. He knows the sorry state of affairs that the local economy suffers. He rants about the poverty rate and the need for jobs, yet his moral compass, anti-business attitude continues to be that pimple on the you-know-what of progress. Hagan is of the mindset that every corporation is out to screw the little guy, yet to my knowledge he has never created one job himself or met a payroll.

His environmental concerns are a tad hypocritical, too, in that he supports GM-Lordstown which produces cars that pollute. He’ll flick a light switch on courtesy of electricity produced from a coal burning power plant.

Rep. Hagan proudly tells the world that he has been a highly paid locomotive engineer for 40 years. And at the same time admits that his $80,000/year elected position is part-time. Yet he wants to stand in the way of opportunity for others. Too many around here have no job; he has two, with pensions and paid health care.

While I understand that we can’t elect a Republican in this area, can’t we find a pro-business Democrat who wants to get us out of this hole? Life is about making choices and survival, and we don’t need a career politician to do either on our behalf.

I still don't know how much good Hagan has done for the valley. He is one of many politicians who live off the tax-payers dollars---- and he needs to go.

Wasn't Hagan one of the politicians standing in line taking credit for V&M?? Didn't he know what business they were in?? What a loser!!! The people in Youngstown will be PROUID to have him a mayor --you deserve him.

Huh? I don't get it...?

So are we ALL in agreement, then?

So Hagan NEEDS to go, right?

Huh?

Well, then...

Why do you all keep re-electing him???

Hagan is a L - O - S - E - R for our area, so

WHY
and
HOW

does this guy keep getting in?

PLEASE answer that question of the decade?!

Thank you.

Bob would have blocked the building of the blast furnace that made the cannonballs to prevent the Union from winning the war.

Refresh my memory. How did Bob get back into the Ohio house? Was he appointed as a replacement for someone who left or was he legitimately elected..And, if he was elected, how?

Instead of complaining about Hagan, someone needs to RUN AGAINST HIM, which no one is doing, and he's proudly boasting about this fact on Facebook.

C'mon, someone step up to the plate!
