Staff report

HOWLAND

The Kellys’ new music video will premiere Saturday during the rock band’s performance at Up A Creek Tavern, 4793 E. Market St. The show will start at 9 p.m.

Production of the video for the song “Victory” culminated Saturday with a shoot in Warren. About 75 people showed up to be part of it, said Kelly McCracken, singer for The Kellys.

In the video, the band walks through downtown Warren, gathering people along the way. The group finishes at the Warren Community Amphitheater, where The Kellys put on a performance.

The video also includes footage from live performances as well as more candid moments.

“Victory” is on The Kellys’ latest album, “Opus.” The new video will be posted on YouTube.com.

The song, said McCracken, “is about banding together toward a common purpose, whether it’s emotionally, or about America, or a relationship, or overcoming adversity ... whatever the goal may be.”
