BOARDMAN
Demolition of the former Circuit City on the corner of Market Street and U.S. Route 224 began this week, and the site soon will be the home of a CVS and fast-food restaurant.
Cedwarwood Development Inc. purchased the property at 7230 Market St. for $2.2 million during a Mahoning County sheriff’s sale in April.
Rick Dilsavor, the company’s director of development, said Cedar-wood still is not ready to release what business or businesses will occupy that corner.
Cedarwood Development also owns the former Auto Toy Store, adjacent to the Circuit City property, and has presented a site plan to the township for review.
Plans show a 13,225-square-foot building that is zoned for retail use and will have a pharmacy for the CVS location and another building, 4,400 square feet, that is zoned for use as a fast-food restaurant.

It's no secret - already been reported that there will be a Sonic going in there...
I had heard that site was going to be The Cheesecake Factory. Obviously that was wrong. Does anyone know if it is still coming or where?
Perfect! Put CVS across from a walgreens. Just what that area needs!
More of the same. Minimum wage jobs. Where is the high paying jobs in manufacturing and high tech which the messiah says is sooo important to the country?
What a waste of money! Tear down a perfectly good building to build another?? Why not just remodel it?? Divide into two stores, use one side for CVS and they could have rented out the other side to another business.
Stupid.
