Keeping Someplace Safe: In a ceremony at Packard Music Hall on July 13, Packed House Productions Inc., an Ohio nonprofit organization, presented a $40,000 charitable donation, in goods and services, to Someplace Safe of Warren. The funds came from a spring benefit concert on St. Patrick’s Day, which featured 38 Special with special guests Joe Grushecky and The Houserockers. Packed House Productions is providing Someplace Safe with a new server and six computer workstations, including installation and training, and a new state-of-the art security and video monitoring system for the facility. Someplace Safe is the only domestic violence agency that serves Trumbull County. Dr. Jim DeVengencie, president and CEO of Packed House, and his wife, Dr. Laura Pall DeVengencie, vice president, presented the check to officials of Someplace Safe.
