Police are still looking for the man who snatched the purse from an elderly woman’s hands as she tried to enter a North Side post office.

According to police reports, the 68-year-old woman was entering the post office on Guadalupe Avenue at 12:09 p.m. Friday when a black male wearing a furry hat with floppy sides with a pair of white sweat pants and a grey sweatshirt grabbed her purse knocking her to the ground. The man took the purse and ran off, disappearing between buildings on Crandall Avenue.

Police searched the area with police dogs but were still unable to find the thief.
