Boy Scouts selling new popcorn products
For the first time in 30 years, the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts will introduce a new lineup of Trail’s End popcorn products for their annual fundraiser.
Since 1980, Americans have supported Scouting with their purchases of Trail’s End popcorn and popcorn treats.
This year’s sale has already begun and will continue through Oct. 31.
The new Trail’s End products have better flavor, are healthier and come in all-new packaging. Consumers will receive 20 percent more product than before.
Unbelievable Butter microwave, Butter Light microwave and ready to eat Cheese Corn are now made with canola oil, with 0 grams trans fat and low saturated fat.
This year, consumers can again donate popcorn to U.S. military personnel.
“This is the fourth year for our military program, and it’s really a win-win-win situation,” said Doug Dent, of Trail’s End Popcorn. “People can purchase popcorn for the men and women serving our country and support local Scouting at the same time.”
Trail’s End is sold exclusively by Scouts in more than 280 Scout councils across the United States and Canada.
