Man pinned by tractor in Mercer

MERCER, PA.

A man was injured Thursday evening when the farm tractor he was operating behind the barn overturned, pinning his arms and torso.

The accident occurred around 6:30 p.m. at a farm on Airport Road in Coolspring Township between East Cornell and Franklin Roads, safety officials said.

The injured man, whose name and age were not provided, was flown by medical helicopter to St. Elizabeth Health Center’s trauma unit in Youngstown.
