GROVE CITY, PA.
Four people were seriously injured, including three adults and a child, in a two-car head-on collision on state Route 208 in Pine Township, Mercer County, at 1:50 p.m. Thursday.
The addresses of the people involved in the collision were not provided by Pennsylvania State Police, which is investigating the crash.
Flown by medical helicopter to St. Elizabeth Health Center’s trauma unit in Youngstown were Shirley L. Walter, 63, driver of one of the vehicles; and Jeremy Dora, 25, and a female juvenile, age unknown, both passengers in the second vehicle driven by Nicole M. Hey, 22. Hey was taken to Grove City Hospital with severe injuries.
Two other juveniles were in Hey’s car. One, a male, was treated at Grove City Hospital for moderate injuries. A female in a booster seat was uninjured.
Police said Walter was eastbound on Route 208 and went left of center into the westbound lane of the two-lane highway and struck Hey’s vehicle. No charges had been filed as of Thursday.
