NORTH JACKSON - In conjunction with the hotel, convention center and casino development recently disclosed by Jim Traficant, The Traficant Company today announced a second project to build a high-tech data center in the Youngstown area from Data One Corp. of Knoxville, Tenn.

Data One offers state-of-the-art technology, security, environmental control and redundancy to clients needing to store and back up information. Traficant said the date center is a $350 million development.

Let's see. In just one year, he's already surpassed attempts to bring jobs to the area than 7.5 years of the sitting Congressman. It seems to me the sitting Congressman is more concerned with his future political career than in helping bring jobs to Youngstown.

And its pretty bad noone wants to work with him because it might hurt there own future political careers come on people wake up and start looking out for the mahoning valley and not yourselves.

..and I thought only Republicans were able to create jobs and solve our problems.

What a great idea. Propose a "plan" to build a $350M project and if someone else raises the money, you take all the credit and if the plan goes up in flames (as it most likely will) everyone will blame local political foes. It's a can't lose proposition for Dumbo, I mean Jimbo!

Mr. T doesn't care what anybody thinks. He feels these ideas have a chance to go. Maybe yes, maybe no. I still feel that he has had his 15 minutes of fame.

Sheesh! I just sober up and blearily read about Trafficant and some data center. Then there's some investigative reporting that pretty well shows it's all BS.

Didn't Jimmy have a can of BS repellent on his desk when he was in Congress?

Maybe he could start up a plant and manufacture BS repellent? After all, he's got the BS and the hot which are some of the raw materials. It'd probably sell in Washington DC like wild fire.
