CLEVELAND (AP) — Police say a minor car accident in Cleveland led to a shooting which left a passenger shot in the face.
A driver who rear-ended another car Thursday sped off when the other driver threatened to shoot him if he didn’t have insurance.
Police say the other driver caught up with the fleeing car and fired two rounds in its direction, wounding a passenger in the face.
The driver who caused the accident has not been identified. It turns out the SUV driven by the gunman demanding insurance proof was stolen.
Police say the 21-year-old shooting victim was alert when he was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center.
