Woman dies in fatal Trumbull County fire

WEST FARMINGTON — A woman died in a house fire at 5585 Ensign Road N.E. early this morning to which Champion Fire Department and 10 volunteer departments responded.

Trumbull County Emergency Dispatch said Bloomfield, Braceville, Bristol, Greene, Mecca, Mesomotamia, Middlefield, Newton Falls, Southington and Warren Township and responded to call that came in at 12:40 a.m. at a home in Farmington Township.

Division of State Fire Marshal investigators are continuing investigation of a fatal fire, which originated in the kitchen and was discovered by the male homeowner.
