Philly cops investigate bones found in woods

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Police in the Philadelphia area are investigating the discovery of a skull and some bones in a wooded area of the northeastern part of the city.

Philadelphia police said the bones were found shortly at about 2:42 p.m. today next to a duffel bag in a wooded area off Roosevelt Boulevard.

City and Bensalem police were called to the scene to investigate.
