The Boy Scouts of Poland’s Troop 44 practiced their cooking, serving and bussing skills at the troop’s 18th annual spaghetti dinner Feb. 28.
Assistant scout masters and members of the Poland Fire Department helped the troop, — which includes Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Eagle Scouts, cook a full spaghetti dinner in the church’s kitchen. Scouts also packaged takeout orders and waited tables.
The troop hosted scouts, scout masters, families and members of the community for the fundraising event.
Proceeds from the dinner will go into the general Scout funds. The fund is used to buy the troop’s equipment, including tents. The group also uses its funds to outfit the troop’s sailboat on Lake Erie.
