The Boardman International House of Pancakes offered diners free pancakes in honor of National Pancake Day Tuesday.
The event was part of a celebration at IHOPs nationwide. The free pancakes are part of IHOP’s effort to raise awareness and funds for Children’s Miracle Network hospitals.
Guests who came in for breakfast Tuesday were offered a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes and invited to make a donation to the Children’s Miracle Network.
All donations made at the Boardman and Warren IHOPs benefit the Children’s Miracle Network program at the Akron Children’s Hospital.
IHOP has raised more than $3.25 million on National Pancake Day since 2006. The company hoped to raise another $1.75 million next year.
