The pornographic industry has stolen the word "Adult" for its nefarious purposes, and the homosexual gang has stolen the words "gay" and "pride" for theirs. Why do happy, proud adults allow this to happen? Time to reclaim our language.

Fertile conditions allow for the pride in harvesting AIDS . Science has defined the cause of AIDS and the way that it is spread . Many have died any many more will continue to die along the path of this selected direction in the journey of life .

An AIDS Memorial Tribute and Reflection Area strikes me as a beautiful addition to the city's South Side. Thank-you Mahoning Valley Pride Center.

This is an overdue memorial for a group of people who are overdue their recognition and pride in this very backward and behind region, of which Stan and Attis are examples of its neanderthal heritage still up and walking. Knuckles still dragging on the ground as they grunt their poison to the world.

Attis, yes our "gang" has stolen words from the english language for our own private use, seriously?? If you want the word "gay" back, you can have it, we would much rather just be thought of as men and women than gay men and gay women. The fact that Stan still believes you "harvest" AIDS is more proof of the ignorance that is still out there and why a memorial to all who have suffered with this disease, gay, straight, white, black, men, women. Stan would never be able to wrap his head around the FACT that African American women are now the fastest rising group contracting the disease, he has to keep it in the gay community to help him sleep better. But enough of the hate talk.

This will be called "The Pride Community Garden" for it's many meanings: Pride in our GLBT community for never accepting less than tolerance; Pride in the City of Youngstown and the Southside Ward 7 community in beautifying their neighborhood; and Pride in all members of human community to get along and work on a project about pride, beauty, and community. We hope to see you all at the Ground Breaking, and The Pride Center is open to our GLBT community and all of our allies.

Their is no hate talk involved, just the facts . The AIDS Memorial Tribute and Reflection Area says it all . The gay community sees the effects of their lifestyle everyday . The disease of AIDS has crossed over to the heterosexual community as acknowledged that African American women are now taking a hit . Only through education pointing out the effects of lifestyles can its impact be limited .

It's not the effect of lifestyles, Stan, it's the effect of unprotected sex. If unprotected sex is a lifestyle, then you're correct.

If there is a lifestyle that is truly problematic, it is the lifestyle of ignorance and diseased egotism, which you exhibit here on a daily basis.

Of that were indeed the case then I would be in the same boat that you are in .

It is really so sad that someone who says in their profile name that they are an alumni of college is still so ignorant and uneducated. Thankfully there is already a veterans memorial, a fallen officer memorial bridge, and other memorials that are still to come or needed.

This is a garden first and foremost to beautify the city, celebrate pride in all communities, including the GLBT community that has donated the land and thought of the idea. The AIDS Memorial is just a section of the Garden and is a memorial to ALL people who have lived, died, or fought for AIDS. AIDS effects everyone and is not a gay or dyke disease to use your vernacular.

Stan:

Maybe if you could actually spell "If" correctly (you spelled it "of"), I might actually take you seriously.

And your comeback is ridiculous. You've got no idea what kind of boat I'm in. But everyone who reads the Vindy threads can see the more than ample evidence of your poisoned mind.

I heard Stan was gay. And he goes to New York every year for Fleet Week.

As my fingers dance across my keyboard typos are inevitable . "If" you can believe that .

No, I haven't allowed you to poison my mind . It still functions as it should and I thank Jesus everyday that it does .

Happy Fathers Day everyone, a day dedicated to the procreation of human life by the union of a sperm and ovum and the nurturing of children by loving fathers in a holy trinity known as a family (mother, father and child(ren), the eternal foundation of all societies.

Yes, I applaud fathers, and mothers as well. Without them, more wonderful gay people who have given us amazing inventions, scientific breakthroughs, works of breathtaking art, and medical advances would not have been born.

You disgusting hater, Attis, you know nothing about what society is founded on. Anyone can breed. Not everyone can lead. And many of societies leaders throughout the past and right now in the present have and are gay people.

Pssttttttt . . .. Tigerlily . . ...

You may want to consider "society's leaders" instead of societies leaders .

I am still able to think so I don't have to rely on Barnie Frank to lead me .
